Harbinger of the arcade gaming phenomenom in North America, this video game classic is simplistic by today's standards but it was regarded as the coolest thing since sliced bread when it first came out. (I know. I was there. Yeah that's right... I'm older than stink on a monkey.) Here's an unofficial clone of Space Invaders you can play for old time's sake or to see what us geezers thought was awesome when we were your age.

To play, simply use the left/right arrow keys on your keyboard to control the laser cannon at the bottom of the screen. Use the space bar on your keyboard to fire your weapon to destroy all the advancing aliens before they reach the bottom of the game screen. Try to accumulate as many points as you can.
