This is a very unique and strangely addicting game concept that defies categorization so I'll just lump it in with the puzzle games. The object of the game is to plot your rocket's trajectory using just the right angle and launch power in order to rescue one or more astronauts floating in space. Things are complicated by asteroids which serve as obstacles and planets which exert a gravitational pull while your rocket is in flight.
To play, use your mouse to aim your rocket and set its launch power. Press the space bar to launch your rocket. The level is completed when your rocket intercepts the abandoned astronaut. You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard to fine-tune the rocket's trajectory (up/down adjusts Power - left/right adjusts Angle).
