Planning Your Attack in Far Cry 2
Once again, taking control of the gameplay in Far Cry 2 is the key to having fun. This open-world (a.k.a., sandbox) video game reacts to your playing style and hence, if you have no plans and no strategies, you will get repeatedly spanked by the AI. Here are some of my favorite attack plans that you can use to help turn the game around...

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Kinda Sorta Scary
I thought it might be difficult to go back to a corridor-style first person shooter after playing the likes of open-world masterstrokes like Far Cry 2 and Crysis but F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin did not disappoint. This game is genuinely creepy at times and guarantees plenty of intense action-packed firefights but it does suffer from a kind of split-personality...

Far Cry 2 – Freedom of Game
Far Cry 2 is a gorgeous first-person shooter that specializes in complete immersion. The quintessential HUD is stripped away and the player is allowed to freely roam around 50 square kilometres of rugged African outback on a quest to kill a mysterious gunrunner known as 'The Jackal'. A wide array of weapons, completely open-ended gameplay and spectacular graphics make for a PC gaming experience that is in a league of its own.

Classic Red Alert 1 – Multiplayer Strategy
Taking a trip down memory lane and going over some of the great multiplayer strategies me and my buddies used in the Classic PC game, Red Alert 1. Diablo II – Video Game Crack
Here is the classic (and quintessential) PC game that literally defines the RPG genre and is officially the best selling computer role playing game of all time. Diablo II picks up where Diablo I left off and adds better graphics and deeper gameplay. Addictive as all hell, this game has an entire online cult orbiting around it which buys and sells in-game magic items for real money (much to the chagrin of Battle.net) as well as droves of diehard fans bragging to have the best Diablo II character builds. If you haven't heard about this game then you should perhaps quit the nether regions of space in which you've been hanging out, return to planet Earth and check this out...

Classic Red Alert 1 – Single Player Strategy
Going over some quick basic strategies for single player mode in Red Alert 1. This is a great game to play if you don't have a very good computer and you don't have much cash to shell out on video games because:

- Red Alert 1 is now freeware
Classic Red Alert 1 – New Jackpot Mission
Here's a mission I wrote up for Red Alert 1 (by the way, Red Alert 1 has now been declared as freeware). The mission is called 'Jackpot' and it's a Soviet vs. Soviet production mission —meaning you get to build a base— and I would love to get your feedback on this. This page also has a couple of video walkthroughs which cover the first twenty minutes or so of the mission to give you a better idea of what this mod is all about. This mission itself is a no-brainer to install and run. Full step-by-step instructions are provided. Check it out!...
How to Install Red Alert 1 on Windows XP
First of all, it seems from the numerous comments on my Youtube page featuring a walkthrough of Jackpot, my Red Alert mission mod, that many are unaware that the old, original Red Alert 1 is now officially freeware. So it bears repeating that you can now download and install Red Alert 1 completely free of charge. This page will show you where to get the download and secondly will show you exactly how to install it so that it will run it on Windows XP (runs fine on XP)...
Red Alert 1 – The Way We Were
Here is what the video game Red Alert used to look like back in its heyday before it got slightly overcooked with all that co-commander razzamatazz you see in Red Alert 3, the latest offering in this franchise. This page will give you a complete overview of the original title that turned Command & Conquer into a gamer's household phrase as well as provide links to strategy guides and whatnot...
